✅ Network and support other local businesses

✅ Like & Follow us on Facebook (and don’t forget to double tap our posts!)

✅ Bring a friend and make new connections

What else should be on the weekly checklist?

New to Rotary and not sure what to expect? Every club takes on it’s own flavor, this is how Bay City Morning Rotary looks on a typical week:

-As you enter our meeting room, sign in at the welcome table. 50/50 raffle tickets are available for purchase, cash only
-Head to the breakfast buffet and grab your morning fuel!
-Find an open seat and network with fellow Rotarians
-7:45AM, the meeting bell is rung and the meeting starts!
-Invocation / Prayer
-Announcements & Birthdays
-Happy Bucks
-1 Minute Rotarian
-Introduction and Guest Speaker
-Meeting Close

What’s the deal with the 50/50 tickets?

-Tickets are sold each meeting, $2 for 3 tickets
-During our morning welcome, we will have an attendee pull a random raffle ticket and read the numbers out. The winner of that raffle gets $10! They will then draw a second raffle ticket.
-The second raffle ticket winner now has the opportunity to pull the Ace of Spades from our deck of cards, if the lucky card is pulled, the ticket holder wins the ‘pot’ of money that has been collected since the last Ace of Spades winner. If they win, we start a new deck of cards and the pot starts over.
-If the ticket holder does NOT win, we rip the card in half and remove it from the deck.
-As an added bonus, since Bay County Library Systems is a member of our BCMR, we use the branded Library Deck of Cards and also read the fun fact on each card, as it’s ripped up.

The first Thursday of every month we hold our Board Meetings- these help us to address new & old business like budgets, committee reports, new membership, service projects etc.

ALL members are invited to participate, however, voting is only available for Board Members.

– Ranked with a 4-star rank for over 13 years by The Charity Navigator

AND SO MUCH MORE!

Raffle ticket sales are a member requirement!

Two times per year, every Rotarian is tasked with selling raffle tickets to their peers and connections. These raffle tickets help us to fund:
-Scholarships
-Grants
-Special Projects
-Annual Budgetary Items
-Other local giving opportunities

The Driathlon is our #1 club fundraiser and is the only event that we strongly encourage every member to attend. This event takes a LOT of hard work by 100% volunteerism and is a great way to connect with your fellow Rotarians outside of weekly meetings. And… it’s a lot of fun.
